Gucci Resort 2019 Show Took Place in a Gravehayard

Shook.

Alessandro Michele presented his resort show in the last place anyone would ever think of having a runway show… a burial ground in the French city of Arles. Spooky much? Interestingly enough, the cemetery is one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites and was completely transformed by the candles and lights used for the runway show.

With no less than 114 looks, the death ritual inspired show consisted of a funeral procession-like model army clad in eccentric and retro Gucci regalia, embellished with feathers, crosses, granny sunnies, earrings and bags. All in all, we loved it! What’s a Gucci show without a little quirkiness?
